image"Teachers’ unions such as those pushing the anti-home schooling bill in Illinois hate competition, be it from private schools or home-schooling. These unions don’t care about children. They want power."

Power is not number 1, MONEY IS NUMBER 1. Education for students may not even be on the list.

The Democrat Party, and therefore all of the City of Chicago and Cook County governments, exist to aid minorities, labor unions and the inner city. There is no other constituency they care about. Forget whites, down staters, suburbanites or any kind of pro business organization. It is just that simple. Home schoolers are the enemy of what the Democrat party stands for.

It reveals to those not paying attention that Public Unions, especially Teachers Unions, are parasitic scum. Private sector unions need to wake up to the fact that these lazy grifters are hiding behind their skirts to bamboozle the public. Private Sector Unions need to kick the Public Sector union maggots to the sewer then wipe their shoes clean of the excrement.

Remember the bumper stickers that said “I love my country but I hate my government”? or words to that effect? Well, I’d like to make one that says “I love my community but I hate my state”. Bet it would sell well south of I-80 at least…..

The left rails 24/7 about Trump rounding up the illegals but here in Illinois the teachers union GESTAPO are going to lock up home school moms for stepping out of line:

House Bill 2827, pushed by Rep. Terra Costa Howard and co-sponsored by 16 other union-friendly Democrats, demands personal information—names, addresses, birth dates—and proof that the home-schooling family is following the state’s playbook. Miss a deadline? You’re hit with truancy charges and up to 30 days in jail.

They aren’t worried about competition. They don’t care about that. The home schoolers’ parents are still paying property taxes which goes mostly to schools. The purpose of the bill is to punish the deplorables. They hate you, conservative, and they want you dead or gone. Anything they can do to force you and your family to move to another state, they will do. And they will punish you if you stay. Few seem to accept that these people hate you. These people don’t even want to breathe the same air as you. Springfield is run by Democrats. Most reps live… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
