“Budget.” At the State of Illinois, there is no budget. It is a “budget,” meaning it is filled with accounting tricks and gimmicks. So what misleading statements will Governor Pritzker say about the phony budget? A better exercise would be to simply repeat over and over the accounting tricks and gimmicks. Or at the very least in each “budget” article link to past articles and a fact sheet illustrating how State of Illinois budgets are a joke.
