If the United States is one of the top 3 producers of oil in the world, why are our gas prices so high ? Because big oil rides the wave of price gouging. Also they sell it abroad at the high rates instead of using it at home for gas
$3.29/gallon last Friday in SC. Of course, $8/gal in CA. JB and Newsom as usual try to distort and distract how IL gas taxes add to price at pump.
JB the Hutt’s hiked into the stratosphere gas taxes are smacking Illinoisans clear in the face, even the ones who outed themselves as fools by attending the risible ‘no kings’ tantrums.
just last month trump was bragging about low gas prices but now that his war has greatly inflated the cost of gas he suggested that high oil prices are a positive!
That’s because you have an out of touch governor and other politicians that raise taxes on a whim. .50 – .15 more per gallon( compared to adjoining states ) is nothing to them; they’ve probably figured out a way to fill their gas tanks up on our dime. They don’t give a s—t if gas is $10 a gallon.
But those taxes keep our roads smooth as silk…sent from my garage putting new shocks on my car.
Buy one last tank of high taxed gas and get out of town. Take it as far as it will get you in any direction that leaves the state. Take you income and all economic activity with it. Let the poor immigrants and rich public sector have the state.
