The article correctly notes that blacks were making economic and social progress in Chicago over 50 years ago, but something happened to derail that process. But the article does not mention what happened immediately preceding the downward spiral. That would be the beginning of the Great Society programs of the late 60’s, and the riots of 1967 and 1968. “This maldistribution of resources has also resulted in a maldistribution of violence.” Actually, this reverses cause and effect. “We didn’t vote for Trump.”
This was a horrible article there are so many things wrong about it but the “we didn’t vote for Trump” pretty much sums it up.
But the irony is that maybe, just maybe, things would get better if they had voted for Trump. Isn’t that the point of democracy?

We wait for black leaders and politicians to say this, though many marginalized intellectuals already have.
OK, the media will give him plenty of attention, but not the kind he needs Look forward to false charges of cheating on taxes, sleeping with his entire staff, being a war criminal, being a pedophile catholic priest, and horror of horrors being a part of a Russian collusion plot. I hope he wins, but he is about to face the whirlwind of the propaganda wing of the democrat party.
Alabama is about to send its first black republican to its state house since reconstruction. Republicans will vote for anyone of any race with a D next to their name….Democrats? Not so much
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

None of the things you mentioned are gonna happen
Larry Elders is currently running for California Governor, let’s hope that the media gives him some attention.
