True story-A friend of my uncle’s years ago got into the Alamo after hours saying he was there to measure the building to put on aluminum siding on it. He got in. Still laughing today.

If recent history is any guide, Kim Foxx’s replacement won’t be any better, and will likely be even worse. Kim Foxx was a PR nightmare, with the dumb look on her face, her inability to articulate coherent thoughts, a mess of a personal life, and of course, her infatuation with D-list Hollywood stars, despite her overwhelmingly popular policies. Her replacement’s policies will likely be even more progressive, and he’ll go far with that charming smile, tidy red bow-tie, and a degree from historically black Howard University.

Extolls all the stuff that Fox has done – that’s exacerbated all of the pestilential problems with which Chicago has to contend – without once mentioning any of them.

And that’s how the Dem progressive-n-woke community in Cook County thinks, pretty much.

They’ll elect another Kim Fox first chance they get.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
