Bailey’s persistent anti-Chicago rhetoric presents a political quandary for the candidate: His criticism of the city and its Democratic leadership is cheered by his hard-right supporters, but he also needs the support of voters in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs to win in November.
So why back a sitting LoL governor JB who blames people outside of chicago and south of I80 for problems like Covid? 35,000 Illinois residents lost their lives under this Lack of Leadership governor JB. Please get out and vote.

Not a word in the article, of course, describing Pritzker’s role in supporting Bailey’s campaign because the Dem’s saw Bailey as their best choice for a sure-fire-loser in the November election.
Of course the fact that it worked says a lot about the state of the Republican party in Illinois.
It’s possible that the establishment, both JB and the ILGOP, were wrong.
Maybe Irvin never had a chance despite a few polls showing a modest lead early in the primary.
MAGA candidates have really done well nationwide, so maybe JB’s supporting Bailey was just another stupid establishment mistake.

This shows how soft the leaders of the Republican party are. Talking about change but not really wanting change. If the Republicans had a opportuitiy to take control of our state.Leaders wouldn’t know what to do. Also, if Jesus ran he would get the same treatment he got 2000 years ago. Isn’t that sad , we are know better.

As if voters in Chicago/Cook County will vote for a Republican. Jesus Christ himself could run as a Republican in Illinois against Satan and Cook/County/Chicago voters would pull the lever for Satan.

Typical Amazon Post.
Bailey tells the truth and it’s “bashing the city”.
Someone from DC should be able to recognize a hellhole when they see one.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
