The gang shooting video and Foxx denying charges based on “mutual combatants” was the end. I’ll never visit from Southern Illinois again and as soon as my caregiving days are over I’m out of this state of delusion.
I dont like saying this but I believe that the cops have finally realized that with Foxx running the states attorneys office why bother actually trying to arrest criminals. Never ending demands for more evidence, no video? Oops too bad. Dropping cases and refusing to prosecute after spending hours and hours chasing leads leaves them burned out and the attitude of “why give a damn”. Most of the violent crime issues involve the protected class anyway so the loss to society is minimal.
