The poor immigrants are who takes care of your elderly parents so well.

Hard to read this. I always thought Broadview was known for having the nicest buildings in all Cook County.
A lot different than the free hotel rooms they had. When something is too good to be true don’t expect it to last. When Biden won the presidency that was their cue to invade, when Trump won the presidency that was there cue to leave. The Dem’s don’t really care about them they’re just using them to try to get more congressional seats. Actually pretty horrible that the Dem’s opened the borders giving these people the impression they were welcome here and could stay with no strings attached.

The vast majority of them worked at jobs Americans did not want at wages that Americans would not work for. The immigrant work force is badly need in the US for many jobs, and we should be grateful to have them.
These people have nutrition standards the pass most in Chicago.
Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time, i.e. TOO BAD.
These people were give the opportunity and even payment to do what was right and they chose to ignore it. Don’t help people that don’t help themselves.
They should track when the entered the country and get $1,000 a day from them auctioning off anything they own.
We like our pets. We chose to take in a pet and care for it. Pets give us companionship, solace and comfort. None of the above can be said about people who snuck into the country unlawfully. Legal, gainfully employed immigrants are always welcome- the detention center has very few, if any, that fit that description.
The reality is we do not know who is correct. ICE is likely doing fine, but these folks want to file lawsuits and get into the media, so the story is enhanced. Their focus is on ending the deportation and impacting ICE operations. That’s all.

Sua sponte, Judge Gettleman (appointed to the bench by Bill Clinton) compared the non working showers at the Broadview ICE facility to the non-working showers at Auschwitz.
Because apparently ICE has systematically murdered thousands of detainees in Broadview, Illinois right under our noses?
Nah. That didn’t happen.
Instead, it turns out that Gettleman’s judicial mask has slipped and the truth is revealed. He’s dropped the pretense impartiality and exposed himself as a political hack in a black robe eager to please his sponsors in the Democrat party.
