Nothing important or time sensitive should go through the Post Office. FedEx or UPS provide a much better service. If you’re shipping a package and it’s replaceable then Priority Mail is a good option as long as it’s insured appropriately. I’ve filed a claim on lost/damaged Priority Mail and gotten reimbursed.
