Pritzker’s lofty goal to have one million electric vehicles on Illinois roads in less than six years, and now a public service campaign is critical of his political party’s EV agenda. Manteno resident Annette LaMore, who is a spokeswoman for the Concerned Citizens, said she was blown away that Gotion is sponsoring the Oktoberfest. “We cannot believe it,” she said. “This is a foreign entity who is affiliated with the Chinese Communist Party. Why in the world are we inviting them into our town, making them the sponsor of our biggest fundraiser of the year?”
