Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I have not seen one f his pressers. The only think I watched is when whoever his human services person said they count just about any death as COVID so none of the numbers are worth a damn. He got to the mic and all I heard was his heavy , out of breath breathing and some useles drivel. This guy is useless. He is just enjoying his time in the limelight with literally nothing positive to offer.
JB’s Pressers are unwatchable! The constant I know more than you smirk, the non-answers, and the softball questions from the lap dog reporters are an absolute embarrassment .
JB needs to stop talking. It’s increasingly obvious to all but the most partisan of progressives that JB is driving the clown car right off the cliff of fiscal insolvency. JB said he wasn’t even aware of Sen. Harmon’s request for $41,000,000,000, which has made Illinois the source of ridicule nationwide. The gov. is not aware that the entire senate is embarrassing the state? Was he lying then or is he lying now?
this is exactly why I don’t watch the Illinois update from jb
