I grew up thinking that the news was unbiased. Learned quite sometime ago that is not the case. WGN is extremely biased and WGN America is associated with it so I highly doubt this claim.

Given the number of local television stations the parent company owns, I suspect they’ll be repackaging a lot of local content. Regardless, if they can do more straight journalism like Japan’s NHK channel, it will be a welcome change.
We’ll see if people watch. It’s nearly impossible to find an unbiased journalist. They’re train in journalism school to be activists and report everything from a social equity angle. Unbiased to them is Trump is not Hitler, but he’s still a racist.
