“Balanced.” “Budget.” “Science.” Must be a Presidential election year.

I originally thought the governor was trying to prolong the shutdown to receive a larger bailout. However, now I’m convinced he’s just an uneducated moron and has no idea what science means. I’d be curious to see his college transcripts – though with his family fortune I’m sure money can buy deans list!

He’s clearly incompetent. He’s in way over his head. But that doesn’t matter, because he’s a progressive, and he was elected for his ideas, like killing babies, legalizing marijuana, and banning plastic bags and straws, and redistribution of state debt for ‘equitable’ reason. Skill and leadership mean nothing when the only issue is killing babies.

He also may also shut us down because of the Zika Virus. One or two cases of microcephaly might occur so mosquito abatement districts will be everywhere and will be fully funded.

When will the politicians of this state represent the people and not their own power hunger? When will the citizens stand up for their constitutional rights? I fear all will be lost if we do not stand now!

Hunger and JB in the same post? Well played.

The moment JB disregarded science and marched at the head of the parade, in close quarters, with other BLM protestors, that was the moment he lost all credibility. open it up JB.

How about the hypocrisy of allowing 20,000 marxist “protest” in the park last weekend but yet the lakefront path is still not allowed to be open.

Marxist activity is encouraged as they are the tools of the Leftist political agenda.

I have been following the order of the Mayoral Goof In Chief, and, while driving home his evening witnessed a TON of peeps using the LFP… I have been using city streets for exercise – very risky… Where was Lori to scold them? OPEN IT UP.

Science is his word. But there is never ever proof of what science he is taking this from.
We are supposed to just blindly follow.
He went and walked with protesters but then stated it was fine after he had stated that the citizens were not to gather more than 10 people. It is a TRUE case of do as I say not as I do.!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
