Mayor Lori Lightfoot Urges Congress To Include Mayors In Discussions Of Police Reform Legislation; ‘We’re On The Front Lines’ – CBS2 (Chicago)

“I think they’ve got to listen and invite us into the conversation. Mayors are on the front lines. We’ve been on the front lines through COVID-19. That work continues. We’re on the front lines when it comes to police reform and accountability,” she told CNN in a Skype interview.

As evidenced by the violent crime this weekend you really aren’t on the front line… And, for their own safety, I would be fine if the police weren’t either…

Leftists donate PPE to front line workers. Why aren’t you donating PPE to your police force?

Hey Lightfoot: Shouldn’t you be better spending your time preparing for the looming financial bankruptcy of your city? There isn’t any federal ‘bailout’ coming. Too many States, Counties and Cities are all going to fail at once so get in line. Your beloved public sector unions are all going to get crushed like empty paper beer cups. Who’s going to pay for your next election when they are gone?

Lori just needs to serve her term. Bankruptcy is batshit. Sharpen your pencil, this isn’t a political fantasy porn site, exactly.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot and other mayors from across the country are asking Congress to work with them on policing reforms.

I thought Lightfoot clip was a rehearsal for hosting SNL. Seriously- she lives in an alternate reality. Congress needs to do the opposite of DNC city policies. For more than a half a century they have excelled as miserable failures on ‘policing and overall city reforms from education to storm sewer backups onto union graft which dovetails into rat patrol. They’re great at greasing palms and selling off public assets.
