Wirepoints’ Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: John Deere Quietly Choosing Indiana and North Carolina Over Illinois, Springfield Moving to Mandate Homeless Encampments in Suburban Parks
If Ted was smart, he would fill is car with gas and get out of town ASAP. Illinois is a complete economic disaster and only getting worse by the day. It has past the point of no return.

Previous Caterpillar CEO Doug Oberhelman wrote a public letter to then Illinois Gov Quinn in 2012 pleading that Illinois needed to be more Business Friendly.
It didn’t seem to make much difference to the government of the State of Illinois as Caterpillar has moved its HQ twice since the 2012 letter.
It’s good Mark points this out about John Deere. Most big corporations learned a few years ago there is no point in sending out a press release and publicizing the fact that you are leaving– or at least not expanding– in the state. All a press release does is get you some bad ink, and maybe some retaliation from the goons in the Governor’s office. So the reality is that hundreds of employers just move more and more of their operations out of Illinois, and don’t publicly announce anything about it.

Chicago getting the trash out of Chicago with the blessing of Cook County. Suburban Cook county needs to be their own county. Preckwinkle needs to stop using suburbs to support Chicago and to clean up Chicago’s messes.

Why do people vote democrat is it because they always have and haven’t realized that the party isn’t what it used to be ,how does encampments in suburbs help anyone . Oh wait it gets the out of Chicago , come on people WAKE THE __ _ _ _ UP
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Mark,
When will Ted Dabrowski be resuming his blogging at Wirepoints? We need his voice now more than ever. The Democrats are out of control.
Sincerely,
