What pointless virtue signaling. This rule or law or royal decree is completely unenforceable. Democrats don’t know how to accomplish anything meaningful and only know how to whine and complain.

I would say the Dems are idiots, but their strategy to rule Illinois has been a huge success.

All city cops and firefighters who have their days off in the following week should travel to northern Tennessee, stay one night and return. Per mayor they must quarantine for 14 days. Let’s see how that’s gonna work out.

Where is Snake Plissken when you need him? “Escape from Chicago” will probably the next movie.

Who wants to come here anyway and be shot? Now they will say the Quarantine kept unwanted visitors out. Yeah right. Between Pritzker making Illinois sound like a camp for infectious diseases and now the shootings, we will be a ghost town this summer. Our elected leaders our doing a fabulous job.

This woman is a sub moron!

Does she really believe that she has the authority to cut off all Inter-State Commerce!!?

WTF?!!!!

How can the Illinois ARDC possibly allow idiots like this to continue to be licensed attorneys?

Right. Let’s see the IMMEDIATE lawsuits on whatever Federal laws are violated here.
P.S. GOOD one with the ‘sub-moron’

I see that you went with the hyphen in “sub moron”. I tried looking up whether or not to use it and finally decided not to.

I hope that she does not feel insulted by my decision.

Another unenforceable rule (especially if you don’t fund a police dept). Does anyone running things in Illinois have a brain?

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
