Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. No mess at all. Restorative Justice States Attorney, Kim Foxx aka Cabrini Kim, will dismiss all charges against black defendants since their arrest was likely a racist arrest because too many people of color are arrested and charged with serious crimes in relation to their percentage of the population. All white defendants will have their charges upgraded because of their white privilege. Case closed.
It’s going to be a mess for sure.
