Both my nephews fought in Iraq, one as a amphibious assault vehicle commander with the 1rst Marine Expeditionary Force going from Kuwait to Baghdad and took out 17 enemy combatants with the tank. They haven’t changed. They were always shallow, empty vessels who would do/say anything to receive adulation. People like that have no core beliefs other than to feed their ego.
