Wow. Lightloafers does nothing but punch Trump in the nose, yet continues to demand money with no strings attached. Who does such a thing? It is one thing to disagree with your opponent but entirely another matter to spew such vitriol. I hope Trump denies her request and gives her a kick in the nuts to teach her a lesson. Chicago is headed for bankruptcy anyways, so why prolong the agony.

It carries on in a bubble, car sticker requests continue to be mailed out, as far as I know not one employee furloughed, then this week decides to open its pool for one month only… Read more »

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
