IF stores reopen (why would they?) property insurance rates for Chicago are going through the roof – they have to. Another bigger cost for those who still want to do business in Chicago.

Have to think the insurance companies will no longer cover the retailers chicago operations. Too high risk!

Years ago I managed a commercial property in Florida and the annual insurance premium was $3,000. It got hit by a hurricane but there was no damage. The next years premium was $15,000. Typical deductible is $50,000 which means the repair bill will most likely be on the retailer or at least the first $50,000. And even if your building was spared you’ll still get hit with an increase.

Our two leaders, JB and LL, were just on the screen… Blamed the Feds and the President for the gun problems and specifically called out Alderman Hopkins for his comments…

Apologies for the frsutration, but these two idiots should stop blaming anyone for their own problems.

Frankly, Hopkins understands that his constituents are the people who pay the bills… The people who follow our laws…

Unbelievable.

Wish I could say I was surprised. But I am not. When there is no consequence for their actions…why would anyone be surprised that this happened. I am surprised that it didn’t happen sooner and more often. These people are not afraid of the Police, the Police are not allowed to engage any of these people…so whats to fear? If they do happen to be arrested, they are released with dropped charges. Even if they happen to be charged and go to jail, for some, jail is better than their home life…so its an improvement.
