Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Anyone watching that video with half a brain can see the rioters were at fault and started the physical confrontation. I am so glad the City allowed the Police the resources to win with overwhelming force. It is amazing that these City Council members are defending these rioters…what the hell is wrong with them?
Those City Council members answer to the voters that elect them meaning what is wrong with the Chicago voters. They apparently approve of the actions of the rioters because otherwise they would elect different individuals to be on the counsel. Rioting is the will of the people that live there.
I think the police were to nice to these scum. Maybe CPD should start using live ammo on these criminals Just a thought
“they kettled, pepper sprayed and beat demonstrators” and the problem is what?
So the poliece actually use a minimum of force against violent rioters and they whine and cry ‘brutality”? Sorry kiddies there’s no trophy for participation. If you participate in a riot you might get hurt. CPD showed remarkable restraint against these violent vermin.
Yep, you choose to fight with the Police…you get what you get. There is a simple solution to that issue and it is totally your choice.
I saw them on the news. if the old Mayor Daley were around, they’d all be in the hospital
Or the Morgue.
I’m surprised they didn’t blame it on Trump.
