‘Fort Lori’: Chicago police ban protests on Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s block, order arrests for anyone who won’t leave – Chicago Tribune

Lauren Dean, who lives nearby, said the mayor is trying to avoid hearing public criticism. "As a neighbor, I find protests and actions near her home significantly less disruptive than her response to the protestors, which only aim to keep her from having to listen to the voices of her constituents.”

Can’t have it both ways.
She wants to defund the police but when a “crowd” comes hear her home she wants the police for her safety.
It is do as I say not as I do.

Im guessing that many small business owners who’s businesses were rioted, looted and destroyed by these “peaceful protestors” would love to have had this sort of police control before their livelihoods were destroyed. What’s good for Me isn’t for thee. The taxpaying chumbolones can go pound sand.

“Shuts yer yappers youze jamokes. Gets back to werk making tax moneys fer us.”

From July 18, 2020 “I unequivocally support and will always fight for the rights of individuals to peacefully protest on any issue.” Lori Lightfoot

I don’t think you know the definitions of “unequivocally” or “always” or “any”. I’m pretty sure you didn’t support peaceful protesters that wanted to end the lock downs. I guess stating that “I will usually support and fight for the rights of individuals to protest as long as it doesn’t impact me near my home or it’s not an issue I disagree with” doesn’t sound as powerful.
