The thing about Mobs and the Guillotine’s is that eventually they consume their own. No one is ever pure enough for an enraged mob. So, for CTU, “completely in support of wherever this is headed”, they will likely end up like Danton, Robespierre, Saint-Just and other revolutionaries who eventually fell victim to their own creation.
