Pritzker says in-person classes in Illinois are still a ways off – Center Square

“With regard to what level at which that we would just send every kid back to school, I don’t know what number that should be, but we are a long way from it,” Pritzker said. “There is no region that is even close though.”

This way there are a bunch of students and therefore potential voters who will be pliable and bend in the direction that they want.

There is a real silver lining in how Pritzker, Chicago Democrats, and their minions in the teachers union have politicized schools opening and demanding online learning 1) Many families have left public schools 2) Outsourcing of online teaching. Fastest growing trend in education, using agency online teachers. The teachers union can now be easily locked out – they have stupidly cut their own throats.

Yes, well put children will now go to athletic centers and sign up for sports and extra curricular activity. Teachers and administrators you have proven your non-essential outsourcing will be the new wave in the future

Senile Joe and his blm approved cop hating. Anti catholic, supporter of rapist vp must be defeated and removed from the news permanently. What the Democrats did to this country is unforgivable.

Naturally then there should be considerable cost savings to the School District’s in this situation. When do the layoffs start?

My exact sentiments, need to go to meetings or contact school administrators via email and explain are positions. If not drop a email to are local newspapers and get them involved the more exposure i think the better. School administrators do not like exposure or pressure in there little world.

The longer that the kids are kept away from the Reds For Ed in the CTU, the better for everyone.

P.S. TPG: You are right on the mark about the whole Chinese Virus thing going away the day after the election.

Come on Fatboy. you know that the Wuhan Virus will dissappear and in-person classes will resume on November 4 immediately after the election IF Biden wins. But when Trump wins the election then the Wuhan virus shutdowns will continue forever. Is that about right Fatboy?

I agree, there is not much science involved in any of this.

Why does he keep talking about “positivity rate”? Simple understanding of math tells you that the rate depends on how many are tested. Generally only sick people are tested, (or covid paranoids), so that rate tells nothing about the prevalence in the population as a whole.

What a scam!

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
