Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The more I look into it the more one main reason for the severity of Covid is nutrient deficiency that results over longer term use of medications taken for the comorbidities of hypertension and diabetes. None of these meds cures the problem but only treats the symptoms with a host of side effects thrown in for good measure. Statins-antibiotics (which have destroyed beneficial bowel flora) seem to be given to everyone.
