Chicago gun violence up as weekend violence leaves 40 shot, 5 fatally across city – ABC7 (Chicago)

A week earlier, 29 people were shot in Chicago, four of them fatally, over Halloween weekend. Shootings and murders have risen over 50% in 2020 compared with the same period last year.

That’s quite a drop in their kill ratio.

Maybe things will change when the Democrats let some of the more experienced gangbangers out of prison…

Sanctuary city + soft on crime might not be the best strategy for public safety.

Shot & Wounded: 3049
Total Shot: 3682
Total Homicides: 695
