Mayor Lori Lightfoot explained, "I think what the monuments and murals committee did was identify those statues and murals and other historical markers that are worthy of conversation. And I think they are worthy of conversation. But let's be clear, we're in the Land of Lincoln, and that's not going to change."

With what is taught in schools–well it should be stated there has not been school taught this year–but the lessons that students in Illinois learn have history according to the Dems. This is surprising that she would state that she remembers this is the Land of Lincoln.
