Illinois Considering ‘Return-to-Work’ Incentive for Unemployed Residents – NBC5 (Chicago)

Four states are paying return-to-work bonuses in lieu of the enhanced unemployment benefits to encourage residents to accept jobs. Among them, Arizona's Back to Work program offers one-time $1,000 payments to unemployment recipients who accept a part-time job and $2,000 to full-timers.

Reminds me of the old cell phone commercial where the new kid comes to school and gets all sorts of goodies and the students that have been there get nothing. This is really a slap in the face to all the people that were unemployed and jumped back into the workforce rather than sitting around collecting extra benefits.
