Violent offenders are walking out of court on a daily basis thanks to the so called states attorney Foxx not prosecuting and the so called chief judge, Evans, orders about releasing in custody offenders without bail. It’s only going to get worse. Loyola University, an uber liberal think tank that actually believes its important.
The researchers should have added a qualifier to the comment, “For the most part, they are not being caught”. The qualifier would be “for this particular crime”. Loyola should publish a study of the prior arrest records of convicted felons. They would then find that almost all of the offenders had been previously “caught”. But they are released back out to commit more crimes. And I’ll bet that all of the convicted claimed their illegal weapons were for self defense only.
