Pritzker says K-12 student vaccine mandate not on table – Center Square

The public school board in Illinois’ capital city is sending a non-binding resolution to the Illinois State Board of Education in support of making COVID-19 vaccines mandatory for eligible children - the first such resolution from a local school board in Illinois.

Kids will have more side effects from getting the jab than actually getting Co Vid. I am now getting my house ready to sell. I just hope there is someone still stupid enough to move to this state. There are plenty of other places that won’t make me poison my kids – I will be picking one of them if this passes. Any of them is better than here.

Biden said the same thing a year ago – We will not mandate a vaccine and look where we are. People are losing or will be losing their jobs. These people cannot be trusted.

He’s also said a lot of other things and turned them back around.

Good for JB.

A quibble with the article. The FDA-approved version of the jab, known as Comirnaty is not available in the USA, and will not be so for some time.

They are still giving out the EUA version, telling you it’s just the same thing, mostly. But legally, they are DISTINCT. EUA jab has some special legal protections the FDA approved jab does not.

If you’re mandated to get the shot, because it is now FDA approved, ask to see the label on the jab-juice. If it doesn’t say COMIRNATY, you’re getting the UNAPPOVED jab.

“That’s not something that we’re looking at doing,” Pritzker said.”

2/3rd of all kids south of I-80 and west of 39, and maybe even west of 47, would be ineligible to attend school in the Spring. Most parents I know are leery of giving the jab to their children.

JB could force his mandate over a small sliver of land in the NE corner of the state but the rest of the state would ignore him. He’s unpopular enough already and I’m sure his polling shows that forced injections are hugely unpopular outside of his mask loving base.

Godo points. I’m hoping the political damage finally catches up to him. He doesn’t have the (ridiculous) luxury that Biden (or whoever is pushing Biden) has right now.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
