A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Sounds like Lori is scared of a “blue flu” epidemic happening that she started. So cops have to delay their sick days, ok, more ammunition for later, throw in some disability leaves later too. The cops have plenty of means to fight this mandate, Lori is scared and will come out the loser. She picked a fight she can’t win, her cop-hating ways won’t go far.
Lori should think outside the box on this one. Since it’s pandemic related, let the unvaccinated cops work from home. Naturally with pay.
But I thought that the unvaxed officers were an existential threat to the city…?
