Trial set to start on charges Jussie Smollett faked attack – News Nation

Reports indicated Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, at the request of former first lady Michelle Obama’s onetime chief of staff, communicated with a member of Smollett’s family early in the investigation. Foxx recused herself from the case then her office suddenly dropped the charges, and Foxx found herself at the center of a media firestorm as she refuted the suggestion that her office gave the television star a break. All that set the stage for what turned a simple question of Smollett’s innocence or guilt into a convoluted legal saga that has dragged on for nearly three years.

The MSM loved this fabricated story, hoping that the dreaded N word was used. Unfortunately it was only the Osindarios who referred to him as a shine!

It’s a jury trial, guaranteed there will be a hold out that will not vote to convict. Will MSNBC follow these jurors to get an interview.

The left wing leaders jumped all over this story when it broke. Joe, Bernie, Nancy, Kamala, Cory and others blamed Trump! Turns out, it was little Jussie all along, but they couldn’t wait to try and blame Trump despite the fact that the story was ridiculous from the start. This trial needs to be kept in the headlines, and let’s be sure Lil Kim gets her share of heat for blatantly mishandling this case.

Another opportunity for Chicago/Cook county to look ridiculous. This has been a travesty since it was first reported.
A second rate actor looking to cement his place in history by faking a hate crime. And the media fell for it hook line and sinker.
It was specious from the get-go – yet the story went national, then international.
Absolutely NONSENSE!

The trial or whatever they’re calling it will be indefinitely postponed due to the new raging Covid.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
