Because of his religious beliefs, Kurt Beathard takes issue with the Black Lives Matter organization’s embrace of Marxism. For that reason, he “removed the Black Lives Matter poster from his office door and replaced it with his own message: ‘All Lives Matter to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.’”
Appending “Our Lord and Savior” to a poster in a public institution probably didn’t help his case. He should’ve argued BLM ties to anti-Semitism as a reason for taking down the poster.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
