“We are operating in an environment where the public expects transparency, and there’s a lot of misinformation about law enforcement in general,” McHenry County Sheriff’s Chief of Operations John Miller said. “A picture speaks a thousand words sometimes. It would just be another layer of transparency [to show] we’re doing the right thing.”
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
