Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
Until FDA grants full approval of Covid vaccination, CPS has no business, nor right, to mandate children’s Covid vaccinations. Vaccinations seem of little use anyways, given their quick loss of efficacy.
I guess any rationale will do — the City and the District can’t afford what the drug companies charge and (for the time being) we can’t steal it from the drug companies. Nor can we “steal” the cost of vaccines from teacher salaries of teacher pensions or teacher health care. We used to talk about pensions being unsustainable. Turns out that with both city and district being bankrupt in fact (if not in name), nothing is sustainable. Amen to Wirepoints’ Tribune piece, time to start over. Note: starting over is different from restarting.
Despite the push, this is an EMERGENCY USE DRUG. When this state starts recognizing opposing views, prophylactics and the adverse reactions honestly, we would be in a much better place in deciding who actually needs this. Pharma needs to accept product liability and not be sheltered by the government. But, mandate jabs are most definitely not needed by our kids, who are not getting sick. How selfish of adults to say you must vaccinate to protect me. This madness has to stop.
Vax mandate for children is coming. These people hate children. They love abortion. They pray to Moloch.
If this is our top Doctor – we are in trouble.
Stop the whining and obey. So it defies logic! They don’t want any additional work. If you need to vaccinate students, you’ll likely need CPS involvement and you know how well that will work!
