Lightfoot: Parents, not just police, need to hold kids responsible for roaming streets after curfew – Chicago Sun-Times*

“I say this as the parent of a 14-year-old, we have to make sure that we know where our kids are, that we are telling them right from wrong at the earliest possible age,” said Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

Pretty funny that she used “parents” in the plural instead of singular.

“There is a curfew, we do enforce it but we need parents and guardians to also step up,”

Unacceptable. We expect the community aka the government to raise our children! Parents have no say in anything any more – Parents aren’t even being told in CPS if their children have switched genders!

Really? Finally parents are expected to know where little Johnny spends his evenings/nights?

Say it ain’t so! Parent accountability? What is this world coming to?
