The city’s study found that the installation of meters had relatively little impact on the amount of lead in a home’s drinking water, Department of Water Commissioner Andrea Cheng said. A bigger concern is the amount of water moved through the home’s water system every day and the temperature of the water.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
