ISP Merit Board spends $550,000 in taxpayer funds to investigate former employee twice – Center Square

Former Merit Board CFO Jenny Thornley, also a former campaign volunteer for Gov. JB Pritzker, was charged in Sangamon County in September with stealing up to $100,000 in false overtime claims; She later accused a colleague of groping her in his office - an allegation determined to be unfounded.

Politically appointed position for someone who lacks the ability to run a lemonade stand which results in a tangled mess of corruption and incompetence. Net result? Taxpayer money wasted, lots of it.
