Chicago Transit Agencies Are Cooking The Books To Fake A Ridership Increase — REALITY CHECK: EVEN THOUGH PANDEMIC IS OVER, TRANSIT RIDERSHIP IS ONLY A FRACTION OF WHAT IT WAS BEFORE COVID
I drive past the a couple Metra stations. Pre scamdemic both lots always full. These days I am guessing at most 25% occupied. Was at tracks while a afternoon rush hour train stopped. Perhaps ten people exited, when I was taking the train my guess over 100 people on that train exited at that stop.
If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
