Folks, EBF is a smoke screen for what will be “needed” for the influx of illegal aliens to the Public Charge State of Illinois. Remember it’s for the children — just not your children.
Despite plummeting enrollment, keeping schools open through 2025 is simply STUPID.
Fully staffing an under utilized school is STUPID.
There’s lots of rank STUPIDITY going around with the management of public education in Illinois.
EBF was just the first step to moving the goalposts further back.

Evidence based funding. The state is supposed to provide an extra $350M every year towards education. Then when it’s done, they’ll tell us they still need more. Lather, rinse, repeat.
