Illinois/Chicago is and has been for decades a catastrophe. I’m voting against every incumbent (dem or rep) until we see: real public pension reform; real and substantial political corruption reform; improvement in IL fiscal condition from its current (for many years) position of #51, behind Puerto Rico; get tough crime reform; and improved public school children test results.
No state is managed like this—especially the outrageous $0.5T unfunded pension/medical liability, which is secured by homes via property taxes.
Duckworth often amazes me with her inane comments and ignorance of how her fellow Americans, especially veterans, are suffering under the Biden administration.
She’s a perfect example of what’s wrong with politicians – she’s ill-informed and not bright enough to comprehend the ramifications of her political actions.
Time for both Dickie and Ms. Duckworth to step aside and allow more intelligent individuals to take their places. Unfortunately, Dickie isn’t up for re-election, so this time around we can make a stand for intelligent governing by voting Ms. Duckworth OUT.

Inflation had been a non issue for 40 years before a dementia ridden lifetime politician was installed as president so that destructive socialist progressive policies could be implemented.
