Every state officer, the senate President and House leader except the Treasurer is from Cook County. How should every other county, especially downstate feel about that? Cook County rules. They don’t care.
Considering Cook County makes up over 40% of the Illinois population it makes sense. When you realize that about 50% of the Illinois democrats come from Cook County it makes even more sense. Should they worry about Pope county’s 433 Democratic voters in the last presidential election or Cook County’s 1.725 million voters? So you’re right that they don’t care much. When implemented SAFE T will turn the criminal justice system inside out resulting in a giant cluster….! Many violations of SAFE T are considered felonies, even for minor missteps or omissions that will inevitably happen. Criminals are laughing, democrats are smiling, victims are going to be ignored, good, innocent tax payers are shaking.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
And to add insult to injury, they want to take law abiding citizens guns away.
