Crooked Corrupt Cook County Democrats Want Voters To Bail Out Pensions
Forget about land acquisition, trail and facility upgrades, the greatest percentage of the money will go to pensions, as usual in IL.
Prediction: This passes with 65% of the vote.
IDK. Most residents don’t use the forest preserve. Users are a small subset of Cook County residents. Not sure if there are enough backwards parkers to pass overwhelming pass this tax increase!
There is zero opposition to this. If the voters heard anything, it’s that they’ll get more parkland for $1/month. Voters are also likely to separate the forest preserves from the inept county that runs them.

What right thinking entity asks for a 50% increase with inflation out of control and sticker shock on absolutely everything?
When was your last 50% increase in income? Never? Me either!
