Durbin touts federal omnibus spending bill aid for Chicago and Illinois – Crain’s*

The U.S. Senate on Thursday passed a $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill for the rest of fiscal 2023 that Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois touts as including money for numerous projects and spending priorities in the state, including some targeted to the Chicago area.
