Chicago Public Schools’ watchdog flags unchecked overtime pay, lost students, sexual misconduct – Chalkbeat Chicago

“We have not been able to confirm or see any evidence that CPS is taking adequate corrective actions even when these audits bear out that schools are not in compliance with what they’re supposed to be doing to verify transfers or missing students,” Inspector General Will Fletcher said. “When you have the information, by way of an audit, then you need to correct the problem.”

Where's Mine ???

unbelievably CPS still has Jadin Chou as head of security (not sure if she oversees truancy). She somehow has survived keeping her job from years ago when Trib did a mountain of articles on all the unsolved pedophile/ sex abuse cases in CPS….apparently little has changes. Unbelievably disgustingly shocking!! (at astronomical prices as usual)

The ST article on CPS IG reports states–“by some estimates, CPS needed to reconnect with up to 100,000 children who weren’t regularly engaged with school.”— does this mean CPS has 100,000 kids (1/3 of CPS students) that don’t attend school regularly, are truant or CPS has no idea of their where abouts other than to game the fake attendance for $big$ OT??? That would be truly unbelievably shocking @ $30k per student per yr!!!

The whole education system is nothing but a money pit. It is not worth a Schmitt for education. Teachers only care about MONEY, they do not care about education at all.
