How does the SunTimes’ Miller write anything with its hands and lips firmly wrapped around Pritzkers johnson?

Yes, he writes fiction, but ‘great?’ Not so much.

The Illinois Education Association wants vision and dental insurance coverage for retirees

How much is the union willing to pay for that? How about an extra 2% employee contribution? They’re all about bargaining, no? Because once a pension benefit is enhanced, there are no takebacks.

Seeing the headline here seeing Rich Miller’s name makes it not worth reading based upon prior readings of his opinions. It does not surprise me one bit that the Sun-Times ran the article giving even less creditability to it. Next up we hear the Sun-Times needs a subsidy as its circulation, hence advertisers, abandon it.

Miller slinks out from under his rock and spews factually incorrect Democrat Propaganda.

It cracks me up that Miller obviously follows the Wirepoints comments and down-votes any comments not worshiping of him.

Rich must have missed Accounting 101 when they covered Accrued Liabilities. But you cant blame the guy because since Madigan’s crew (aka Rich’s sources) got cleared out , poor Rich has to kiss the Govs’ office staff rear ends to get any info. He’s just another mouthpiece for the Gov so he can keep his Capitolfax going.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
