During a late night run of bills Friday evening, Illinois House Republicans used a parliamentary procedure to expose staff voting the switches of absent Democratic legislators before session was abruptly ended. All week last week, the House passed more than 400 bills. Friday was the deadline for House bills to pass. Some Republicans in the super minority characterized the week's action as being a “woke Dumpster fire.”
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Since when do Democrats believe actual votes are needed to accomplish anything?
They’re just counting switches, not votes…
Good to see the IL Republicans accomplish something, for once.
