Evanston City Council votes in favor of expanding its reparations program to repair housing discrimination – CNN

Initially, the grants of up to $25,000 were restricted to mortgage assistance, renovations or a down payment on a home - and this week, Evanston’s city council approved a cash option to its Housing Restorative Program. So far, the city has only spent $326,836 of the $10 million promised.

I used to go to Evanston to hear live music at Space. Always thought the parking sucked but was just in and out of town for the show. But now that a new venue has opened in Arlington Hts I no longer go there. Arlington seems to want business to thrive and Visitors welcome.
