Illinois bill would require more diverse reading curriculum for K-12 students – FOX32 (Chicago)

House Bill 2401 would require school districts to make sure that reading assignments and courses include authors who have diverse backgrounds and cultures. "Now more than ever, it’s critical that we uplift educational standards that represent and positively reflect the rich diversity of our state," state Rep. La Shawn Ford said.

In what years did La Shawn Ford teach in Chicago Public Schools?

He taught History the entire time he was at Chicago Public Schools?

Thus far, La Shawn is the only sponsor of HB 2401 in the 103rd ILGA, which is in the House Rules after receiving a first reading. 105 ILCS 5/28-22 new Sec. 28-22. BLM’s stated intention was to destroy the “western-prescribed nuclear family”. This bill wants to introduce different “Family dynamics” into the curriculum, to normalize alternative family structures, like celebrating men who father children with three different women (and pay for none of them), or normalizing two unrelated men siring children with baby factory womb donors, or two women having children with sperm donors. These crazy progressives look at their own dysfunctional family situation and they demand you celebrate it. That ‘open air insane asylum’ is catching on – and more true each day.

When I see LaShawn has proposed new legislation, I expect exactly what this piece of legislation offers D.E.I.: …”Division, Entitlement, and Intimidation …” (to paraphrase an adjunct professor’s recent WSJ letter to the editor).
