A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.

If this bill passes, say goodbye to local control over all Illinois parks and expect to see open drug and alcohol use, needles, no sanitation and fire hazards, but no ordinary park users.
So basically 90 minutes less instruction time for the majority of students to accommodate some alleged “meeting “ time with underperforming students. Of course these teachers are so busy in their non classroom time that they could not arrange to meet with students during the day as it is currently scheduled. My frustration with teacher is reaching its limit. They need to be exposed to the level and intensity of the work that it performed by the people that support their school systems, and end their whining.

That’s because you know nothing about their job so you assume that those teachers don’t need 90 minutes each week for planning. Your ignorance is causing you to reach your limit.
The 90 minute late start is not limited to planning, it was also presented to include professional development, collaboration, etc. The bell schedule for Niles North is here: https://www.niles-hs.k12.il.us/north/bell-schedules Bell schedule hours are 8:10AM – 3:23PM, which is about 7.5 hours. The bell schedule breaks down to (9) 42= minute periods, plus a 10 minute home room, with 5 minute passing periods. You gotta see it to believe it. Niles Twp HSD 219: Just 38% of students can READ at grade level. Just 39% of students can do MATH at grade level. Students reading at grade level, by race: 42% White 27% Hispanic 20% Black 40% Asian. Graduation rate: 92% graduate but only 38% are proficient in reading.
